Align and Move

The Align and Move tool contains functions for the subsequent defining of pole distances over a defined section.

Intention

Redefine pole distances for a block with catenaries.

Instructions
  1. Run the Adjust Macro function.
  2. Select the start pole from which the new pole distance should be counted.
  3. Select the end pole as the last one to which the new pole should be counted.
  4. Fill in your data into the dialogue box and approve your entries with OK. The dialog box will be explained subsequently.

Result

Sicat Master executes the macro and saves the associated data in the project database. The graphic is updated automatically.

Span Length

You have the possibility to assign a new station and a new distance to the track for all poles in this section. The existing pole distances can be Rounded to a Multiple, or you can assign a Constant Distance for all poles to the predecessor- or successor pole. If you activate the checkbox Nothing To Be Changed, the distances will be kept.

Distance transverse to track

In the fields Align and Sequence, you can assign the reference point of the alignment after the movement. Either you align the poles with the positions of the support point (Align pole with first support point) or you align the support points with the poles (Align support points with pole). With the checkbox Nothing To Be Changed, the alignment of the state before the movement is reestablished.

In the field Sequence, you assign the sequence of the movement and the alignment.

Note: It is recommended to activate the Align After Move and Align Pole With First Support Point checkboxes.
